November 27, 2009

Mark Lloyd became one of the first guest speakers on the new Community Care Webinar during November.  The webinar model which is set to become extremely popular allows an audience to log in through their computer and avoid the expense of travelling to a conference.   This was one of the first of two webinar’s run by Community Care under the stewardship of Mark Ivory.

Mark Lloyd was invited as a lead practitioner on behalf of Essex in delivering the new Reablement model.  A televised 30 minute debate with fellow guest speaker Professor Caroline Glendinning of the Social Policy Unit at York University was logged into by over 30 Councils was proceeded with a stream of on line questions.
