Capita’s 4th National Conference – 21st January 2010 – ‘Delivering the Next Wave of Cashable Public Sector Savings.’

CHS Director’s Mark Lloyd and Mike Walsh will be speakers at Capita’s Annual Conference on - Improvement and Efficiencies in the Public Sector – Delivering the Next Wave of Cashable Savings.   The event to be held in central London and addressed by Bob Neill MP, Shadow Minister for Local Government and will focus on supporting Local Authorities prioritising 2010 as the time to realise crucial, joined-up value for money Savings.   Mark and Mike will share their Essex County Council experience in making efficiency savings through Personalisation focusing on the recent externalisation of the former in-house adult provider services into one of the Country’s first Local Authority Trading Companies (LATC) - Essex Cares.  As a consequence considerable financial savings have been delivered for the Council.   Mark and Mike will also discuss the track record CHS now has of advising a number of Council’s on the benefits of the LATC model for a range of service provision generating substantive savings and value for money outcomings.   For more information on this forth coming national conference visit www.capitaconferences.co.uk
